NEPAL TOURS

Nepal is a landlocked central Himalayan country is South Asia. Nepal is now officially the federal democratic republic of Nepal. The population is 26.4 million and borders runs north by the china and south by India, east and west it’s the largest Himalayan state. The name Nepal is first recorded in texts from the Vedic Age, the era which founded Hinduism. Nepal has a diverse geography, including fertile plains, subalpine forested hills, and eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. Kathmandu is the nation's capital and largest city. It is a multiethnic nation with Nepali as the official language. The Kathmandu Valley in central Nepal became known as Nepal proper because of its complex urban civilization. It was the seat of the prosperous Newar confederacy known as Nepal Mandala. The country was never colonized but served as a buffer state between Imperial China and Colonial India. In the 20th century, Nepal ended its isolation and forged strong ties with regional powers. Nepal was the world's last Hindu monarchy until 2008, when it became a republic. Nepal has long standing bilateral treaties with the United Kingdom since 1923, India since 1950, and China since 1960. The military of Nepal is the fifth largest in South Asia and is notable for its Gurkha history, particularly during the world wars, and has been a significant contributor to United Nations peacekeeping operations.

The park is bounded by Rapti and Narayani rivers and the altitude ranges from 110 to 850 meters. Chitwan National Park used to be called “Royal Chitwan National Park” because it was a big game place for Royal Family of Nepal. But, after the People’s Revolution in 2006 AD, the initial word of the name (Royal) has been deleted. The park is the home for the endangered species like single-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger. Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The route to the Annapurna Sanctuary is in the site of the Annapurna Base Camp. The base camp is the most spectacular spot to take in the dramatic views of an array of snow-capped peaks in the surrounding area. While the trail has some steep climbs, most people of reasonable fitness do not find it too strenuous. This trek offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the high Himalayan peaks, traditional villages, and serene alpine forests in a short time frame and without the hassle of the high altitude sickness.

Annapurna area was first explored by the British adventurer Col. James O.M., “Jimmy Roberts,” in 1956, who christened it as the “Sanctuary of Gods”. It has been known as the “Annapurna Sanctuary” ever since. The adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp starts from outside Pokhara Valley, which is one of the most scenic spots in the area. The trek combines breathtaking mountain views with incredible cultural diversity, and traverses through remote farms and villages, giving you a glimpse of rural life. The trail leads towards the deep gorge between the peaks Hiunchuli and Machhapuchare (Fish-Tail). It then cuts through the dense bamboo and rainforests of the narrow Modi Khola Valley before continuing on to the Sanctuary with views of the immense walls of the mountain fortress. Once inside the Sanctuary, you find yourself in midst of an amphitheater of gleaming, snowy peaks, including Annapurna I (8,091 m.), Annapurna South (7,219 m.), Gangapurna (7,455 m.), and Annapurna III (7,555 m.). It is an overwhelming experience.

This area is also referred to as the Annapurna Base Camp and the Machhapuchare Base Camp. During the return journey, you descend through the lush Modi Khola Valley with its gentle, green rice terraces, after which the adventure concludes by the magical lakes of Pokhara. Pokhara is a popular destination, home of the famed Phewa Lake, which is dominated by the towering mountain ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, including the majestic Machhapuchare. The diversity of the climates, vegetation, and cultures you will encounter on this relatively short trek is greater than most large nations contain in their entirety! From the lush flora and fauna of rain and temperate forests to the terraced rice fields, the land and its people change daily, giving the trekkers a tantalizing introduction to Nepal’s cultural and natural beauty.

As the trail continues into the Sanctuary, it crosses two wide avalanche tracks on a narrow trail that closely hugs the cliffs. The trail then descends to meet the Modi Khola and follows the river to Bagar. From Bagar, we climb across more avalanche paths and cross a moraine and a stream. The climb then continues towards an area known as Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), at the elevation of 3480m. Day 11: Dovan

Trek to Dovan (2600m) 05 Hrs

After a great time at ABC, you retrace the journey back to Dovan via Machhapuchare Base Camp. The route passes a few roofless shepherds’ huts alongside a moraine. The new trail branches off from last teahouse of upper Chomrong. The trail is quite steep downhill for about an hour, until you reach the village on the ridge. We will try to make the time to visit the hot springs down below by the river Modi near Jhinu village. Overnight at Teahouse

Day 13: Pokhara

Everest Region And Chitwan National Park

Luxury Tour To Everest Region And Chitwan National Park

Everest Region is the world’s most preferred tourist destination. The prime attraction of this region is Mt. Everest (8848m). If is widely popular, not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain, but also for its friendly Sherpa people, colourful festivals, ancient Buddhist monasteries and flora and fauna. Sagarmatha National Park has been established to protect the endangered species like Impeyan Peasants, Himalayan Musk Dear, Himalayan Thar and other various high altitude species. The story of Yeti which is specially originated from and linked to Everest Region is still a mystery to the world.

There are mainly two ways to travel to this region. The most popular way is to take a regular scheduled flight to Lukla (2860m) and trek to Khumbu valley for a couple of weeks. Another way is to take direct chartered flight to Everest Region. Some people do half an hour’s mountain flight by regular aircraft and return to Kathmandu and some people take private helicopters.

Kongde is newly established location from where the prefect views of mountain range can be seen. Situated at an elevation of 4250 meters it lies on the base of Kongde Ri (peak). Recently, Kongde Hotel has been built at Kongde to serve those tourists who want to experience almost all the mountain views of Everest Region standing at a single place. From Konde you can see Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Amadublam (6812m), Thamserku (6608m), Kusum Khangru (6367m), Kangtenga (6809m), Lobuche Peak (6119m) and various other mountains. Similarly, it also serves wonderful views of Sherpa villages like, Namche Bazaar, Portse, Pangboche and Tengboche.

Chitwan National Park: Chitwan National Park is the best preserved conservation area in Asia and the most visited National Park by tourists in Nepal which is enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Established in 1973 AD, the park covers an area of 932 sq. km which includes hilly areas of the Shiwalik Range covered by deciduous trees. Other animals found in the park are rhesus monkey, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, grey langur monkey, wild dog, small wild cats, marsh crocodile, the four species of deer and other animals. Similarly, it is also the home to 450 species of birds.

The Park offers interesting sites and activities, like Elephant safari, Jeep safari, canoeing etc. Elephant safari provides you great opportunity to have closer view of single-horned rhinoceros and you may get to see the Royal Bengal Tiger. A jeep safari through the jungle provides more game spotting opportunities than might be expected otherwise because it goes deeper into the jungle, usually beyond the beaten track. A thrilling tour in a four wheel drive into the heart of the park will enable you to view some of the rarest species of animals and birds

Langtang Valley Trek

“A Fabulous Journey On The Tamang Heritage Trail In The Shade Of High, Snow-Capped Peaks”

At present, Langtang is the third most popular trekking area in Nepal, after the Annapurna and Everest regions. This fabulous trek, a perfect combination of moderate and rigorous walking, leads to the high alpine valley with the backdrop of high, snow-capped peaks. In the spring, this place is alive with wildflowers. Here you will find peace and serenity amidst the Buddhist culture.

With its scenic valley and impressive gorge, affording views extending all the way to the Annapurna, it is no wonder this is such a popular place to trek. Langtang Valley is situated directly north of Kathmandu in the Central Himalayan Region. This area was declared a National Park in 1976 and remains the second largest national park in Nepal, covering a total of 1710 sq. km. of mountainous terrain south of the Nepal-Tibet (China) border.

The area offers a diverse range of cultures. The three main ethnicities living in the area are the Tamangs, the Yolmus, and the Bhotias, who all originated from Tibet, coming to the area beginning about 500 years ago and continuing until about the mid 20th century. In the southern section of the park, there is a small area of sub-tropical chestnut forest and a unique Sal forest. The hill forest (2000-2,600 m.) across the southern slopes of the park consists of Chirr pine, rhododendron, Nepalese alder, and oak. Moving north and higher, the Montane zone (2,600-3000 m.) comprises mainly mountain oak, which changes to silver fir, hemlock, and larch in the lower sub-alpine zone (3000-3,6000 m.). Throughout these zones, several species of rhododendron trees form a twisted and colorful backdrop. It is at 3,600-4000 m. that the juniper and rhododendron shrubs slowly fade into the expansive alpine grassland meadows. Here, the elusive snow leopard is still thought to comb the alpine heights for prey. The park is also well known for its populations of red panda, Himalayan black bear, wild dog, Himalayan thar, ghoral (mountain antelope) and more than 250 species of birds.

Above the tree line, the valley opens up into a classical glacial ‘U’ shape, bound to the north by the impressive Langtang Himal, beyond which lies Tibet. The major peaks include Ghengu Liru (Langtang II, 6571 m.), Langtang Lirung (7,425 m.), Kimshun (6,745 m.), and Shalbachum (6,918 m.) to the south. The Chimsedang Lekh forms a ridge of peaks, which includes Naya-Kanga (5,846 m.) and Gangchempo, Tilman’s beautiful Fluted Peak. Beyond is the Jugal Himal, which terminates in Dorjee Lakpa (6,980 m). And to the east, the upper meadows of the Langtang end in a massive mountain wall, forming the frontier with Tibet.

Day 02: Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu valley

After your breakfast, you will precede to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you will tour the ancient palace, the temple of Kumari, hailed as the living goddess of Nepal, Hanuman Dhoka and Kasthamandav Temple with a guide knowledgeable about Nepalese history, architecture, and religion. From there, you will proceed by taxi, bus to the Buddhist site, Swoyambhunath Stupa, also known as the "Monkey Temple" because of its lively troops of resident monkeys. You will then visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest shrine for Hindus, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, a popular cremation site. Before returning to the hotel, you will visit Boudhnath Stupa, a Buddhist pilgrimage center and home to many colorful gompas, or monasteries. Once back at the hotel, you will receive a briefing about the trek and have a chance to meet your guides and ask any last minute questions before tomorrow morning's departure. Overnight in Hotel

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1460m) 07 Hrs

An early morning drive after breakfast will take you to Syabrubeshi. The bus ride takes you on a winding uphill and downhill road and passes many rural towns and farming villages. The bigger town en route is Trisuli Bazaar, which is in the sub-tropical zone. From here, the road climbs uphill to a cooler region, leaving the rice paddies behind as it passes by terraced fields of maize and millet. As the weather changes, the culture and the people begin to change as well. You then arrive at Dhunche (1,965 m.), the one and only major town of the Langtang area and the Rasuwa district. There's a Langtang National Park headquarters, where your trekking and park permit are checked by the Royal Nepalese Army, who serve as park wardens as well. From here, the journey continues downhill for 1-2 hours until you reach Syabrubeshi village for the overnight camp. Overnight at

Day 04: Trek to Riverside (2240m) 06 Hrs

The trek from Syabrubeshi is quite pleasant, with a few uphill sections. The majority of the walk is, however, on a relatively level trail through terraced farm fields and villages. The trail descends and joins the path coming from upper Syabru at the Riverside Lodge near Bamboo, an ideal spot for camping. You will have ample time to go for a refreshing splash in the nearby upper Trisuli River. Overnight at teahouse/Lodge

Day 05: Trek to Ghoretabela (3020m) 05 Hrs

The trek today leads to cool forest in the gorge, following the rushing Trisuli River upstream. The walk is more or less an uphill climb in the cool shade of rhododendron and oak forests. After three hours trekking, you arrive at a small clearing that houses the Lama Hotel, where there are facilities for camping. From this place, another 2-3 hours brings you to the wonderful spot at Ghoretabela for the overnight camp. Ghoretabela is situated in the midst of a forest of pine, hemlock, and rhododendron. From here onwards, you will begin to feel the altitude. In Nepali, Ghoretabela means “horse-stable.” In the early days, the people from Langtang and as far as Kathmandu use to trade with Tibet, brining large numbers of Tibetan ponies to the town, as Ghoretabela is an ideal place for the cattle and horses to graze. Ghoretabela has a lodge and a park warden's barrack, where your permit is checked once again. Overnight at teahouse/Lodge

Day 06: Trek to Kyanging Gompa (3850m) via Langtang Village (3430m) 06 Hrs

After a pleasant stay in Ghoretabela, the trek continues for a few short hours on the trail to Langtang and its beautiful valley. You walk through the cool shade of the alpine woods for an hour, following a small stream and leaving the tree line behind. The path leads uphill for an hour, and then follows a gentle, gradual winding trail with a few ups and downs until it reaches the village of Langtang. (*Note: Langtang used to be a beautiful village and a beautiful campsite. But, a big avalanche triggered by the mega earthquake of 7.8 Magnitude that hit Nepal on 25 April 2015, swept this valley leaving only rubble). From Langtang village, the walk leads you on a level path for a short time before winding uphill for a few hours through prickly blueberry and alpine shrubs. You will encounter a Mani prayer wall, which you should walk around in a clockwise direction, following the local culture and religion. As your walk leads you further east, the valley opens up and the walk continues on a grassy meadow with views of numerous snow-capped peaks in the distance. The walk is more pleasant, but can seem more difficult because of the altitude gain as you approach Kyanging Gompa for the overnight stop. Kyanging Gompa is a scenic, charming spot, with peaks looming in all directions. The closest peak that you can see is the Langtang Lirung (over 7,000 m.) and its icefall, which is not too far from the campsite. Kyanging Gompa is a small monastery located on the top of a ridge formed by a glacial moraine of rocks and boulders. Within the Kyanging Gompa area, there are 6-7 lodges and a cheese factory. Overnight at teahouse/Lodge

Day 07: Rest Day at Kyanging Gompa

Spend today at your leisure, a very well deserved rest day. After breakfast, you can go for a short walk to the nearby hill called Kyanging RI (4,700 m.), which gives you a panoramic view of the surrounding snowcapped peaks. Or, alternately, take the time to visit the cheese factory or simply look around the village. Overnight at teahouse/Lodge

Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel (2470m) 06 Hrs

After a wonderful time at Kyanging, the journey continues back on the same trail to the Lama Hotel, a small settlement in the midst of the forest on the bank of the upper Trisuli River. Overnight at teahouse/Lodge

Day 09: Trek to Syabrubesi (1460m) 05 Hrs

Helambu Circuit Trek

“Amidst Rich Mid-Hills Culture In The Shade Of Jugal Himalayan Range”

This trek makes a wonderful circuit of the Helambu region. The normal starting point for this trek is Sundarijal because of its proximity to Kathmandu. The Helambu region is less frequented by trekkers than other regions like that of Everest or Annapurna.

Helambu, one of the most beautiful regions in the foothills of the Himalayas, is just a few days away from the Kathmandu Valley rim, situated directly northeast of Kathmandu in the central Himalayan region.

This trek takes you through the Langtang region and joins at Helambu. The Langtang area was declared a National Park in 1976 and remains the second largest national park in Nepal, covering 1710 sq km of mountainous terrain south of the Nepal-Tibet (China) border.

The area offers you the chance to immerse yourself in a broad range of cultures. The three main ethnic peoples living in the area are the Tamangs, Bhotias and, Yolmus. The Yolmo people of the Helambu region are often referred to as “Sherpas”. However, neither their languages and customs nor their clan structure resemble that of the Solukhumbu Sherpas of Everest. They are thought to be more akin to Langtang Bhotias, and may also have originated from the Kyirong area of Tibet, just over the border.

Their religion and monasteries show their rich Buddhist culture. At lower elevations along the edges of the park, other mid hill tribes and castes reside including Brahmins, Chhetries, Newars and some Gurungs.
